This essay proposes a connection between the problematic of differentiation in the religious universe and reflection on the limits to objects of religious history study. The study of the manifestation of difference is, to such an extent, considered from the perspective of the phenomenon of belief with this deemed to be the (encompassing) limit of religious history objects of study.
