Supervisão da prática pedagógica e colegialidade docente. A perspetiva dos candidatos a professores

This paper reports on the research carried out with trainees of an initial training institution. Its main objective was to understand the representations some future teachers have about the contribution of teacher training for the construction of an identity of the profession. This identity can be determined by the teacher’s work, by it peers and also by the work which is inherent to the profession: supervision. As such we have started from the question: What is the vision trainees/future teachers have regarding the teaching practices developed in an initial teacher training institution? This paper will try to show the innumerable advantages of supervision, besides its problems to better understand the concept of supervision and others related, as those of teaching and collegiality. From the interviews of the subjects we perceive that initial training is a crucial moment, which changes the life of a future teacher. As such it is viewed as a set of dialectical relations and interactions that take place among the several interveners of the training process, mainly in moments of supervision.Neste artigo pretende-se dar conta de uma investigação que levamos a cabo junto de formandos de uma instituição de formação inicial. Teve-se como objetivo conhecer as representações de alguns «futuros professores» sobre os contributos que a prática pedagógica teve para a construção identitária da docência, em momentos determinados pelo trabalho docente, pela colegialidade e, obviamente, pelo trabalho que nos é inerente: a supervisão. Assim, partimos da seguinte questão: Qual é a visão que os formandos/futuros professores têm relativamente às práticas de supervisão desenvolvidas numa instituição de formação inicial de professores? Este trabalho pretende dar conta das inegáveis vantagens da supervisão pedagógica, mas também dos seus problemas para melhor compreender o conceito de “supervisão” e de outros com ele relacionados, como os de trabalho docente e colegialidade. Percebemos pelos discursos dos sujeitos entrevistados que a formação inicial é um momento crucial e transformador da vida de um aluno/futuro professor, configurando-se esta como um conjunto de relações dialéticas e de interações que se estabelecem entre os vários intervenientes do processo formativo, sobretudo, em momentos supervisivos
