The Effect of Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, and Activity on Stock Price (Empirical Study on Indonesian Primary Sector Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011 - 2016)

This study is aimed to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, everage and activity on stock price of primary sector companies. The population s 63 companies which are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. By using purposive sampling, 42 companies are obtained as sample. The duration of this esearch is 6 year from 2011 until 2016, thus there are 252 observable firm years. The hypotheses are tested using multiple linear regression method. The results show that profitability and activity both have positive and significant effect on stock price. Meanwhile, liquidity and leverage both have positive effect on stock price but the effects are not significant. Adjusted R square of this research is 0.320 which illustrate that the independent variables presented in the model are able to explain 32% of the dependent variable while the 68% are explained by other variables outside of the model
