Thesis investigation looks to allegorical architecture as a means of enhancing our awareness of our environment. This investigation began in early 2016 with the discovery of a little-known architectural history of the Muaūpoko people and their suspended treevillage, Te Pā Rākau, in Horowhenua Aotearoa.
