DISEÑO DE UNA ESTRATEGIA DE ADMINISTRACIÓN FINANCIERA A CORTO PLAZO PARA UNA EMPRESA CONTRATISTA DE OBRAS OBJETO DE ESTUDIO

The research work was carried out in a construction contractor company belonging to the OSDE of Construction Design and Engineering (GEDIC). Deficiencies in working capital were identified as the main problem, proposing the design of a short-term financial management strategy, based on a comprehensive characterization and diagnosis of the organization to determine the causes of financial problems. For the diagnosis, a prospective analysis was performed by the MICMAC and SMIC-PROB-EXPERT methods. The fundamental problematic is determined from the cause-effect diagram in which the causes that gave origin to it were defined, analyzing through a matrix its relation with the seven elements of the Model of the 7'S of McKinsey. A comparative analysis of the economic-financial behavior of the years 2015 and 2016 was carried out, from which the necessary and optimal working capital was determined for the company's operations and the financial strategies to be followed. The scientific methods used were mainly: documentary review, surveys, interviews with experts, SWOT analysis and prospective analysis methods with which it was possible to determine the effect and the main weaknesses of the organization.El trabajo de investigación fue realizado en una Empresa contratista general de obras perteneciente al OSDE de Diseño e Ingeniería de la Construcción (GEDIC), determinándose como principal problema deficiencias en el capital de trabajo, proponiendo diseñar una estrategia de administración financiera a corto plazo, partiendo de una caracterización y diagnóstico integral de la organización para determinar las causas de los problemas financieros. Para el diagnóstico se realizó un análisis prospectivo por los métodos del MICMAC y SMIC-PROBEXPERT. Se determina la problemática fundamental a partir del diagrama causa-efecto en el que se definieron las causas que dieron origen a la misma, se analiza a través de una matriz su relación con los siete elementos del Modelo de las 7´S de McKinsey. Se realizó un análisis comparativo del comportamiento económico-financiero de los años 2015 y 2016, a partir del cual se determinó el capital de trabajo necesario y el óptimo para las operaciones de la empresa y las estrategias financieras a seguir. Los métodos científicos utilizados fueron principalmente: revisión documental, encuestas, entrevistas a expertos, análisis DAFO y métodos de análisis prospectivo con los que fue posible determinar el efecto y las principales debilidades de la organización
