Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek raksturota mutes dobuma higiēnas paradumu atšķirības dažādās vecuma grupās, biežākās sastopamās mutes dobuma slimības, zobu tīrāmie palīglīdzekļi. Praktiskā daļa sastāv no pētījuma metodes apraksta, apkopotām diagrammām, rezultātu interpretācijas, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem. Pētījuma mērķis – noskaidrot mutes dobuma higiēnas paradumu atšķirības sieviešu un vīriešu populācijā. Izvirzītā hipotēze – sievietēm un vīriešiem mutes dobuma higiēnas paradumi ir atšķirīgi. Pētījumā tiek izmantota kvantitatīvā metode. Tiek veikts šķērsgriezuma pētījums, kurā mērījumi tiek veikti divās grupās, lai salīdzinātu un noskaidrotu galvenās mutes dobuma higiēnas tendences. Petījumā piedalās 202 respondenti. Respondenti aptaujāti sociālajos tīklos. Pētījuma instruments – anketa. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka sievietes mutes dobuma higiēnas uzturēšanai pievērš vairāk uzmanības, kā vīrieši. Pētījums sniedz iespēju noskaidrot mutes dobuma higiēnas paradumus latviešu iedzīvotāju vidū, paradumu atšķirības sieviešu un vīriešu populācijā, kā arī vērojami robi mutes dobuma higiēnā. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis describes the differences in oral hygiene habits in different age groups, the most common oral diseases, dental cleaning aids. The practical part consists of a description of the research method, summarized diagrams, interpretation of results, conclusions and proposals. The aim of the study was to find out the differences in oral hygiene habits in the female and male population. Hypothesis put forward - women and men have different oral hygiene habits. The study uses a quantitative method. A cross-sectional study is performed, in which measurements are performed in two groups to compare and clarify the main trends in oral hygiene. 202 respondents participate in the study. Respondents were surveyed on social networks. Research tool - questionnaire. The results of the study show that women pay more attention to oral hygiene than men.The study provides an opportunity to find out oral hygiene habits among the Latvian population, differences in habits between women and men, as well as gaps in oral hygiene. From the data obtained, it is possible to determine what the public needs to be educated about in order to improve oral hygiene habits
