Background & Objectives: Hypertension is one of the most prevalent and important risk factor of cardio-vascular diseases. The aim of this research was to determine relative factors on hypertension in Kohrang. Methods: This survey was a population – based case - control study. The study population consisted of 415 patient with hypertension (cases) and 415 controls without any history of cardiovascular and or cerebrovascular diseases & hypertension. A systematic random sampling was used. The chi-square test and conditional logistic regression model was used and the data were analyzed by STATA.
