Abstract The development of buying and selling both conventional and online transactions has an impact on the need for effective dispute resolution when there is a loss to consumers. Fast, simple, and low-cost consumer dispute resolution is needed to speed up the way the dispute is resolved. This article is part of the results of fundamental research conducted in a normative juridical method. The results showed that consumer dispute resolution in the court with a small claim value was not balanced with the mechanism of proceedings in the court, while the power of the decision through BPSK resolution was not final and binding.
