Tindakan sosial tokoh Husna dalam novel Lovely Hana karya Indra Rahmawati berdasarkan perspektif Max Weber

The purpose of this study is to describe and to analyze the form of Husna’s social act, its causes, and its effect in novel Lovely Hana by Indra Rahmawati based on Max Weber’s perspective. The type of this research is qualitative research.The primary source of this research is novel Lovely Hana by Indra Rahmawati. The technique of collecting data is reading and noting. To analyze data, researchers use Miles and Huberman model which contains of four steps. They are collecting data, reducting data, displaying data, and drawing conclusion. The results of this research are: 1) the forms of Husna’s social act in novel “Lovely Hana” by Indra Rahmawati based on Max Weber’s perspective are zwecrational act and affective act; 2) the cause of two Husna’s social act is Reza refusal and Husna’s envy; and 3) the effects of two Husna’s social act are putting people in danger, raising a conflict, Reza’ love toward Hana is sprouter, and Husna’s regret
