As this publication was going to press, the Organization of American States just approved Resolution 2429 on Human Rights and Climate Change in the Americas. The resolution calls on the hemisphere’s various development and human rights agencies to help states understand the adverse effects of climate change on the most vulnerable populations of the region, and to build the ability of States to adapt to evolving climate phenomena more effectively
