In this chapter we demonstrate that corporate accountability has been part of transitional justice processes of memory, truth and justice. In the first section of the chapter we provide a brief comparative analysis of the accountability mechanisms implemented since the Nazi regime crimes. Then we analyze the evidence of Latin America?s leading role in this area of transitional justice. In the following section we introduce our Archimedes? Lever Approach explaining corporate accountability from below with particular emphasis on Latin America?s leadership.
