The purpose of cluster evaluation at the Foundation is to help fulfill WKKF's mission. The Foundation's mission is to help people help themselves through the practical application of knowledge and resources to improve their quality of life and that of future generations. Cluster evaluation is a mechanism for gathering information to use in determining the extent to which WKKF grants are helping people improve their quality of life.The information collected through cluster evaluation is used by the Foundation to enhance the effectiveness of grantmaking, clarify the strategies of programming initiatives, and inform public policy debates.
