Abstract

In recent years, there has been a radical change in the world of teaching and training. This is causing numerous schools, universities and companies to adopt the most modern Information and Communication Technologies, mainly based on the Web, for distance education. Moreover, the widespread use of web-based environments is producing a considerable volume of data which could be used to monitor the learning processes to improve them.
