A didactic activity is a complex multifacetted object. Among these facets is a problem related to a learning domain that the student has to solve. When such a problem occurs in a human-computer environment, the difficulties come not only from the subject domain and the problem-solving strategies but also from the manipulation within this environment. Therefore, the student calls on various kinds of knowledge in order to solve these problems. This research aims at analyzing these kinds of knowledge in a particular context of computer-assisted learning-to-read environment.
