This study examines how teachers in Swedish schools educate students about existential questions. To be more specific, how this is being done in the subject of religious studies in middle school. In the context of Swedish education, these questions are referred to as “livsfrågor”, which literally can be translated to life questions. The purpose of this study is mainly to examine which life questions teachers include in their education and how teachers manage to educate about these questions.
