The early impact on social rights of the Covid-19 emergency in Europe and the response of supranational institutions – The paper aims to address the early, and harsher, impact of the Covid-19 virus emergency on specific social categories and the dramatic consequences on the welfare state in the European continent. As a matter of fact the growing social need for more welfare state corresponds to a major economic crisis which jeopardizes its actual sustainability.
