Comparative Law has developed through time a plurality of approaches and methodologies. In particular, Law and Cinema is an interdisciplinary view at looking at legal problems that deserves a specific attention. It highlights certain aspects of legal relationship often underestimated like the importance of empathy in judgment, an analysis of the feelings involved in litigation, the social and economic context in which law operates. Apologies are not only an intriguing topic for lawyers, but they are also a recurring theme in film culture, and more specifically in the so-called 'legal movies'.
