Conference Interpreting programs regularly include group practice sessions for their students. In those sessions, peers give each other feedback on their performances. Peer feedback is often seen with some hesitation, but through a review of existing literature, the importance of feedback in general, and the validity and positive impact of peer feedback are shown. The idea of “good feedback” is then considered from two different points of view. First, the goal of good feedback is to help students become independent learners.
