Breast cancer highly deteriorates the lifespan and the life quality of women around the world. The Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) represents only 15% of all breast cancer subtypes. Nevertheless, it is characterized by a high death rate. TNBC is highly aggressive and exhibits poor prognosis, being insensitive to conventional targeted anti-breast cancer treatments. It is therefore crucial to develop new therapies against TNBC. As in many other cancers, the signaling of the Wingless/Int (Wnt) family of growth factors is overly active in TNBC, being one of the causes of carcinogenesis.
