Premier texte d'une série de 8.For an anthropology of communication What do we mean by “anthropology of communication”? The term is used for the ethnographic analysis of human communication as well as for behavioural changes due to the application of new information technologies. We put forward an introduction (below), to be followed by seven texts: three reflections on “anthropology”, three on “communication” and one concerned with the overlap between these two concepts. Starting with December 2004, these papers will be accessible at the rate of one paper a month. Our intention is to search for all terms associated with “anthropology” and “communication”, to create an inventory of representative semantic fields for them, to indicate current overlaps established by colleagues carrying out communications and information research as well as possible overlaps in the future.Pour une anthropologie de la communication Introduction De quoi parle-t-on lorsque l'on prononce l'expression « anthropologie de la communication » ? Elle est utilisée pour désigner aussi bien l'analyse ethnométhodologique de la communication humaine que les transformations comportementales nées de l'usage des technologies de l'information. C'est pourquoi on proposera une introduction (que voici), puis un parcours en sept étapes (trois autour du concept d'anthropologie, trois autour du concept de communication et une proposition de recoupement), à raison d'une étape par mois à partir du mois de décembre 2004. Le principe est le suivant : rechercher dans les dictionnaires tous les termes associés aux deux notions « anthropologie » et « communication », construire un champ sémantique les présentant, indiquer les points de rencontre actuels à travers des exemples pris chez des auteurs en SIC et tenter d'imaginer leurs recoupements possibles pour compléter la réflexion ainsi esquissée
