The problem of this study has been centered around the methods and techniques used in teaching mathematics to a group of seventh grade students of the Fisher High School, Athens, Texas. The problem further presents itself in determining whether certain methods and techniques will help the student gain a better understanding of, and, a greater appreciation for mathematics.
