Huryuodori was a traditional dance entertainment in the Middle Age. Huryuodori in the 16th-17th century became a prosperous. 丁he genre paintings represent various items such as costume of Huryuodori. It was found that there was a slmilarity between the early Kabuki costume and Huryuodori costumei however, there has been no formal discussion of the point of view of the clothes.The purpose of this paper is to examine the further similarities between the early Kabuki costumes and the Huryuodori costume in the genre paintings of the 17th century.
