This study aims at evaluating spelling performance of Tabouk Teachers\u27 College stu-dents. For this purpose, a diagnostic test in spelling is prepared. It has 50 items testing four spelling issues: 1- glottal stop (hamza) 2- Soft /a/ (alef layenah) 3- Rounded /hi (ta\u27 marbutah) and spread /t/ (ta\u27 maftooha) 4- Omitting and adding letters as well as connecting words. The research tool is implemented on a sample of 147 students from the 6th and 7th levels. These students are from Arabic Language Dept., Quran Studies Dept., Science Dept., and Mathematics Dept.
