Annotation. The article provides information on the species composition, biology, morphology and damage characteristics of important species of long-lived beetles found in poplars. In the Fergana Valley, 7 species of long-beaked beetles are found in poplars and cause damage, and their generation lasts 2-3 years. In addition to poplar, the identified species feed on 8 species of fruit trees and 6 species of ornamental trees
