The manpower planning approach in determining the contribution of educational investments to the economy

1960'lı yılların başlamasıyla, eğitim sektörü için yapılan harcamalara kuvvetli bir ekonomik kalkınma etkisi atfeden ekonomik modellerin arttığını ve bu modellerde yer alan eğitim harcamaları değişkeninin GSMH değişkeni üzerindeki etkisinin belirlenmeye çalışıldığını görüyoruz. Eğitim yatırımları ve ekonomik kalkınma arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan yaklaşımlardan biri de insangücü planlaması yaklaşımı adını almaktadır. İnsangücü planlaması, saptanan ekonomik hedefler için hangi mesleklerde ve ne kadar insana gereksinme duyulduğunun belirlenmesine ilişkin teknik yöntemlerdir.In the begining of 1960 's, we observe that economic models referringa powerful economic effect to the spendings of the educational sector have increased in number. These models test the impact of the variable of educational spendings upon the variable of GNP. One of the approaches which is used to find a relation between the educational investments and the economic development is called "manpower planning approach ". Manpower planning approach contains the technical methods estimating how many people from which professional groups are needed to achieve the economic goals that have already been determined
