SEGURIDAD Y DEFENSA EN LAS AMÉRICAS: EL TERRORISMO SIMBIÓTICO TRANSVERSAL, TST

The following article has as its primary objective to explain and determine the model of Simbiotic Transversal Terrorism, which was created based on the actions and strategies of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) during the last few years. Its particular use of terrorist actions, have made it necessary to construct a specific concept, that takes into account every aspect of this particular fenomenon, so that we may have a better understanding of it. Therefore, the different spheres of action- intrastate as well as interstate- of the mentioned organization will be analyzed as well as their bonds with the many illegal organizations (national as well as international) and the support that they receive from certain governments that has contributed to the perpetuation of the armed con ict in Colombia. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo principal explicar y delimitar el modelo de Terrorismo Simbiótico Transversal, el que se construyó a partir de las actuaciones y estrategias efectuadas por parte de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias Colombianas (FARC) en los últimos años. Su uso particular de acciones terroristas han hecho necesaria una construcción específica conceptual, que tenga en cuenta todos los ámbitos de dicho fenómeno para así intentar entenderlo y analizarlo de manera más concreta. Por lo tanto, se analizarán tanto las distintas esferas de acción –intraestatal como interestatal– de dicha organización, y sus lazos con diversas organizaciones (tanto nacionales como internacionales) al margen de la ley, así como el apoyo que reciben por parte de ciertos gobiernos lo que ha contribuido a la perpetuación del conflicto armado en Colombia.
