Emilio Moya Lledós (1894-1943) had the opportunity to belong to the group of Spanish architects, led by Leopoldo Torres Balbás, who during the Second Republic proposed a new treatment and use of the built heritage. His untimely death interrupted a process only recovered many years later. The article aims to show the coherence of his professional work with the method used in the training at the School of Architecture and also at the Spanish Academy in Rome, where he was a pensioner.
