Ethnopharmacological relevance: Fungal and bacterial infections remain a major problem worldwide, requiring the development of effective therapeutic strategies. Solanum mammosum L. (Solanaceae) (“teta de vaca”) is used in traditional medicine in Peru to treat fungal infections and respiratory disorders via topical application.
