International audienceWhen the issue of media censorship in Russia is tackled empirically, it is often reduced to a massive and direct phenomenon. Yet in the end, it is a more of a diffused process which is incarnated in the multiplicity and heterogeneity of forms of control and constraints affecting editorial teams. This chapter focuses on television, a media platform particularly associated with political power, and studies two very different types of TV shows. The first one is the interview show Pozner broadcasted on the channel 1, the second one brings together so-called “investigative” films on the private NTV channel close to the State.
