Not AvailableFish catch in the Potential Fishing Zones is 3-4 times higher when compared to non-PFZ area. PFZ validations and feedbacks were undertaken through selected group of active fishermen identified at the major selected fish landing centres along the coast of North Tamil Nadu, India from April 2007 to March 2011. With a view to validate the advisories and to qualify the potential benefits of the technology, concurrent validations have been taken up.
