Not AvailableThis paper presents the results of a study conducted during kharif, 2016 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, to elucidate information on genetic and phenotypic variability, heritability and genetic advance in promising rice genotypes under variable soil P condition. A total of 55 elite rice genotypes were sown under three different soil P levels, i.e. 20, 40 and 60 kg P O /ha. Data were recorded on days to 50% flowering, plant height, total tillers per plant, productive tillers per plant, spikelet fertility, 1000-seed weight and yield per plant. The traits plant height, days to 50% flowering, spikelet fertility and yield have high heritability along with genetic advance as percentage of mean, indicating that these characters...
