It should be present as viable cells and ability to survive and metabolizing in the host gut environment. It should be viable for periods under storage conditions and remain stable also. Probiotics have been ability to promote growth, improve efficiency of feed utilization, protect host organism from intestinal invader bacteria and stimulate immune response in mammalian species.
