The purpose of this study is to examine factors that influence consumers' intentions to buy sustainable clothing. The fashion industry poses many sustainability challenges that are widely recognized by consumers, manufacturers and regulators. Production of more sustainable clothing can improve the impact of the industry on the environment (Gazzola et al., 2020). Nevertheless, the sustainable fashion remains a niche market, accounting for less than 0.1% of the global fashion market (The business research company, 2020).
