Driven by digitalization and accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ‘war for talents’ is increasingly shifting towards the digital world, transforming traditional personnel selection systems into information systems. While these digital personnel selection systems (DPSSs) make use of video interviews or gamified assessments to realize benefits in terms of cost-efficiency and sustainability, the use of digital technologies has a significant impact on user behaviors and selection outcomes.
