Because of the disadvantages of microstrip patch antennas, they should be used in multiple (array antennas) and different geometric structures in order to be used in long distance communications Thus, by eliminating the disadvantages,they can be used especially in spacecraft, telemetry and radar applications for satellite and missile systems. In this paper, 2x2, 4x4 and 8x8 array patch antennas that can communicate with long distances are designed and simulated.
