The project of current the President’s Palace of the Republic of Moldova (former the Soviet Supreme of Moldovan Soviet Socialist Republic) was realized in 1980–1985 by architects Yuri Tumanyan, Arcady Zaltsman, Victor Iavorski and engineer Anatoly Liutîi. From a constructive point of view, it is an edifice designed from three blocks including the vertical core and two lower side annexes. The President’s Palace of the Republic of Moldova represents one of the first Moldovan buildings built in the postmodernist style.
