Abstract Aims/Introduction Weight reduction therapy is the primary treatment to prevent complications of obesity, such as lifestyle diseases and cardiovascular disease; however, to date, useful methods and genetic factors for predicting the outcomes of weight reduction therapy in obese patients have not been established.
