Objective:European hares (Lepus europaeus) are among the most important animals that are connected with humans in many countries and natural life. Hares are important for public health, since they carry many zoonotic diseases, such as Encephalitozoon cuniculi, Francisella tularensis and Toxoplasma gondii.
