In the field of construction a change is taking place. The architectural project, its development system and the way in which the different agents are going to participate in the construction process will be transformed. The reason is the bursting into a new methodology based on digital technology: the BIM methodology. The traditional paradigm of the construction process at the design level and at the execution level will not be the same nevermore. Current and future architects will have to adapt to this technology and learn to master it if they want to develop their profession in the future.
