Cooperació al desenvolupament a Haití: implantació d'un sistema de producció de calç

This project wants to give a solution not only to the damage on buildings caused by the earthquake in Haiti but the damage produced over the last 100 years by the rich countries and the capitalist way of thinking. In this way, we introduce a different point of view about the technical requirements in Haiti. We propose to build a small-scale lime kiln in order to do some productive activity in self-building context. With this proposal we pretend to discuss the sovereignty of imported technologies that doesn’t adapt to the real needs in the country. Usually this kind of high tech applied in a wrong context squanders time, money and has bad environmental impacts. All of this starts with an urgent need of building a school in Jacmel, Haití because of the earthquake.
