Aluminum (Al) is an important factor that limits plant growth under acidic soil conditions. However, several plant species developed distinct mechanisms that limit the damage caused by high Al concentrations. In highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum), the Al resistance mechanisms are not fully understood.
