Estudi d’aplicació de diferents tractaments d’il·luminació led en el cultiu de microbrots de brassicàcies

The cultivation of microgreens, for some years now, is creating a trend among consumers of `gourmet¿ plant products. The colours and textures, as well as the antioxidant and vitamin properties attributed to them, offer both consumers and chefs the opportunity to enjoy a gastronomic experience that is at least curious. As there is an increase in demand for this product, producers have also seen a strong appeal in its cultivation and this implies that there has been an intention to innovate and improve processes in this type of agriculture. This study aims to observe the effects of the electromagnetic spectrum of artificial light LED on the microgreens growing when it comes to non-specific lights for agricultural use. For this, two species of the Brassicas family have been cultivated in the microgreen farm of the company Vertical Fields SL: daikon radish (Raphanus sativus var. longipinnatus) and red cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata f. rubra), and three different light treatments have been applied: Control, T24 and T36 (one professional and two non-specific or standard spectrum). In the fresh weight of the radish no significant differences were observed between the treatments, unlike the dry weight, however, in the Cabbage they were seen in both weights. In radish, the leaf area and the chlorophyll content did not show significant differences, but the height did. In cabbage, the leaf area does not differ but in chlorophyll content and height does.It can be concluded that the use of the LEDs of the T24 and T36 treatments represents an economic saving compared to the use of the control treatment LEDs, taking into account the yield osses obtained in the treatments of non-specific spectrum.El cultiu de microbrots, des de fa uns anys, està creant tendència entre el consumidors de productes vegetals `gourmet’. Els colors, aromes i textures, així com les propietats antioxidants i vitamíniques que se’ls atribueixen, brinden tant a consumidors com a restauradors l’oportunitat de gaudir d’una experiència gastronòmica si menys no curiosa. Al existir un augment en la demanda d’aquest producte, els productors també han vist un fort atractiu en el seu cultiu i això implica que hagi hagut una intenció de innovar i millorar processos en aquest tipus d’agricultura. Aquest estudi pretén observar els efectes que té l’espectre electromagnètic de la llum artificial (LED) sobre el desenvolupament dels microbrots quan es tracta de lluminàries no especifiques per a ús agrícola. Per a això s’han cultivat, a les instal·lacions de l’empresa productora de microbrots Vertical Fields S.L., dues espècies de la família de les Brassicàcies: Rave daikon (Raphanus sativus var. longipinnatus) i Col llombarda (Brassica oleracea var. capitata f. rubra), i s’han aplicat tres tractaments lumínics diferents: Control, T24 i T36 (un de professional i dos d’espectre no específic o estàndard). En el pes fresc del rave no s’han apreciat diferencies significatives entre els tractaments, a diferencia del pes sec, en canvi, en la Col s’han apreciat en el pes fresc i en el sec. En el rave, l’àrea foliar i el contingut de clorofil·les no ha presentat diferencies significatives, però l’alçada si en presenta. En la col l’àrea foliar tampoc presenta diferències però el contingut de clorofil·la i l’alçada si en presenten.. Es pot concloure que l’ús dels LED dels tractament T24 i T36 suposa un estalvi econòmic respecte l’ús dels LED del tractament de control, tenint en compte les pèrdues de rendiment obtingudes en els tractaments d’espectre no específic.Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible::9 - Indústria, Innovació i Infraestructur
