Trabajo presentado a las Jornadas sobre Producción Animal, celebradas en Zaragoza del 17 al 18 de mayo de 2011.In the present study, results from a genome-wide eQTL scan in the pig gluteus medius muscle of a Duroc population have been further analysed in order to detect associations to lipid metabolism and meat quality traits variation. The functional classifications revealed that lipid-related GO terms and pathways were amongst the most enriched in the list of eQTLregulated genes. Subsequently, a positional concordance study between eQTL and QTL linkage maps, and a correlation analysis between phenotypes and expression levels have been carried out.
