In order to conduct this research, it is necessary to use a series of theories and methods on architecture and urban publicity as tools, so I use the figure-ground theory that is often used in urban texture research as the main clue, combined with other relevant theories of architectural design and urban publicity . Design for research. For this reason, I put forward suggestions for the renovation of existing public buildings and unplanned courtyards in the old city of Quanzhou, and explored ways to improve the propaganda inside and outside the buildings. In a local area, the uniform distribution of public buildings in the same area can improve the propaganda effect of the entire area and allow residents to have more places for activities. At the urban scale, the original old city is relatively independent, and most tourists will be concentrated here, so this is also to make the activities of the locals more integrated between the new and old city. In terms of the scale of the building, even 20 years ago, the activities and needs of the locals have undergone tremendous changes. Some public buildings built after the founding of New China can no longer satisfy more diversified activities and can only replace public buildings with limited functions.
