Analysis of the direct effects of SGAs on adipose tissue metabolism and gene expression. The xls file shows the raw data of adipocyte glucose uptake lipolysis after short-term (30 min) and long term (24 and 72h) incubation of adipocytes and adipose tissuewith therapeutic and supra-therapeutic concentration of olanzapine (Ola) and Aripripazole (Ari).Therapeutic concentrations of olanzapine and aripripazole have a moderate direct effect and adipocyte lipid and glucose metabolism, respectively. At supra-therapeutic concentrations, both of the antipsychotics seem to act as anti-inflammatory agents and mildly suppressed genes involved in the regulationof mitochondrial functions, which could potentially contribute to metabolic adverse effects.
