A method is proposed for boron determination in steels at ppm levels by inductively-coupled plasma spectrometry. Solutions equivalent to 5 g sample in 100 ml were used, a previous separation of iron being performed, in HCl, with ethylic ether. The analytical line used for boron analysis was 2496. 78 A and the results were verified with standard samples.Peer reviewe
