Tesis doctoral defendida el 28 de mayo de 2021 en la Universidad de Oviedo[EN] The main aim of this thesis is the preparation by liquid-phase methods of two-dimensional materials, such as graphene and MoS2 nanosheets, as well as the exploration of their use in energy and environmental applications. Using bulk graphite and MoS2 pieces as the starting materials, two-dimensional graphene and MoS2 nanosheets were obtained, respectively, via cathodic exfoliation in aqueous medium.
