This report looks at innovative financing solutions that can upscale investment in enterprises that drive progress in gender equality and climate resilience. It highlights two case studies that demonstrate three key criteria: private-sector engagement — a critical component to tapping into US$70 trillion (BCG 2018) in global private capital; a gender lens approach — to strengthen climate resilience through the inclusion of women; and additionality — bringing in new capital that would not otherwise be invested
