Evaluated were morphological and biological features, inheritance and variability of the principal productivity character of lentil varieties Aurie and Verzuie. The initial breeding material was produced by induced mutagenesis with gamma radiation and individual selection. The varieties Aurie and Verzuie are highly productive, of superior quality and exhibit high resistance to various biotic and abiotic factors
