NOSOCOMIAL INFECTIONS WITH METHICILLIN RESISTANT STAPHYLOCOCCUS: EPIDEMIOGENIC SITUATION AT DAY, SOLUTIONS

In this article are analyzed bibliographic data about current global issue of Staphylococcus methicillin-resistant infections (MRS), as well as the results of a transversal study regarding the rates and structure of the strains of MRS, frequency of isolation of MRS strains from different specimen type, but also according to the profile of clinical departments, the rates of resistance of MRS strains to antibiotics in the Republic of Moldova, on the model of three multi-profile stationary. Were analyzed 6735 strains of staphylococcus isolated from patients with nosocomial septicpurulent infections. The results of the study show 33,91% of the MRS strains. Rates of MRS varies depending on the species of staphylococcus (S. aureus – 18,41%, S. epidermidis – 60,61%, S. saprophyticus – 51,44%, S. haemolyticus – 43,10%), but also depending of specimen type. A higher rates of MRS was found in blood cultures – 76,11%. In 38,24%, MRS cases are associated with other species of gram positive, gram negative and fungus. In 67,39% of cases, strains of MRS were polyresistant to antibiotics
